മികച്ച പച്ചത്തുരുത്തിനുള്ള മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ പുരസ്കാരം   നീലേശ്വരം നഗരസഭയിലെ പട്ടേന പട്ടേൻകാവ് പച്ചതുരുത്തും ചെറപ്പുറം പച്ചത്തുരുത്തിനും '  ജില്ലയിൽ നിന്നും മുന്ന് പച്ചത്തുരുത്തുകൾക്കാണ് പുരസ്ക്കാരം ലഭിച്ചത്. തിരുവനന്തപുരം ടാഗോർ തിയ്യറ്ററിലാണ് ചടങ്ങ് നടന്നത്. 2020 ൽ പട്ടേന ജനശക്തി വായനശാല ആൻ്റ് ഗ്രന്ഥാലയത്തിൻ്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൻ ജില്ലാ പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായിട്ടാണ് നൂറോളം വൃക്ഷതൈകൾ പട്ടേന പട്ടേൻകാവിൽ വെച്ച് പിടിപ്പിച്ചത്.പിന്നിട് ഇത് പട്ടേൻകാവ് സംരക്ഷണ സമിതിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൻ സംരക്ഷിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. നിലേശ്വരം നഗരസഭയുടെ നേതൃത്യത്തിൻ RRF ൻ്റെ മുൻവശത്താണ് ചെറപ്പുറം പച്ചത്തുരുത്ത് ' നിലേശ്വരം നഗരസഭയ്ക്കു വേണ്ടി ചെയർപേർസൺ ശ്രീമതി. ടി.വി. ശാന്ത, ആരോഗ്യ സ്റ്റാൻ്റിംഗ് ക മ്മറ്റി ചെയർപേർസൺ ശ്രീമതി. ടി.പി. ലത, മുൻസിപ്പൽ PHI ഷിജു K, ,ജനശക്തി വായനശാല പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് സുനിൽ പട്ടേന , ഹരിത കേരള മിഷൻ കോഡിനേറ്റർ Kബാലകൃഷ്ണൻ,ഹരിത കേരള മിഷൻ RP ദേവരാജൻ മാസ്റ്റർ എന്നിവർ ചേർന്ന് ഹരിത കേരള മിഷൻ ചെയർപേർസൺ Dr TN സീമയിൽ നിന്നും പുരസ്ക്കാരങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി.
